An stuck open EGR valve can make the engine idle rough and stall, but this seems more like a temperature related issue. And AFM lifter is mechanically collapsed/stuck or unlocking as soon as the engine is started. A failed solenoid could cause either an under or over boost condition and associated codes depending on if it were stuck open, or stuck closed.
